School Holidays

Well the 4th term has started. The holidays were a blur - all 10 days of them! The girls spent the first few days at home and then my great friend Kerry took them down to their beach cottage at Kelso for a few days. Sean and I went and joined them over the weekend and had a good time. Pity about the weather. It felt like the entire time they were on holiday it rained so not much time was spent on the beach!

It's the downhill slide to the end of the year. The girls have started swimming lessons again, and so far are loving it. Lauren is in squad swimming and Sarah shares a lesson with a little boy in her class. We are all so keen for summer and the beach - we even took a dip in the pool yesterday. The water is warming up and in no time, we'll be in there every day!

We had the Fergusons and Mayo's around for a lovely lunch this past weekend. Karen is about to pop with her 2nd child (a boy this time) so they're preparing for chaos! It will change the mix - coz all we have is girls between us!!!

October is already filling up with trips planned to the berg (Sean's golf weekend), and parties and the book club girls are heading off to Zinkwazi beach for a weekend in November. We're all looking forward to the Aussie Proctors' visit at the end of November too.
