Well the 1st term has already come to a close and the girls are on holiday again. This time for 2 weeks. This 1st week is just for relaxing and chilling at home, then we're off with a bunch of mates to a farm in the Midlands for 4 days!! Really looking forward to a good relax and a few gin and tonics!
We've had a very busy 1st term, with the girls improving beautifully in their swimming. Sez nearly got a gold medal in her breastroke race, but can you believe it, her cap came off and she stopped to get it, and ended up 2nd. She got a few seconds, so was very proud of herself. Lolly did well in both her gala's getting a few placings, but her best, was her 1st in the interhouse gala at school - she won the breastroke race!! Sean was so proud of her I thought he would burst!
We've been really spoilt by our mates and have been galavanting around staying at beach cottages and catching up. We've just got back from staying at our old haunt, Westbrook beach. Heather came down from Jhb and we all went out to Westbrook beach for the weekend. So much lovely food and too much red wine!! Need to put in a few runs this week me thinks!!
Sean has been busy at work. They seem to be running out of space again, so having a nightmare trying to find more space for his freezers! He is selling tons of cheese and I think dreams of cheese at night. I have also been busy at work with year ends and tax year ends to deal with, so all in all life flying by and us Proctor's keeping out of mischief.
Sean and I have enjoyed a season of master's squash. We've played in a fun league and had mixed fortunes, but excellent runs and good exercise. I am really enjoying my squash at the moment.
Lolly had her birthday last week and had a few girls around for a pool party. They all had a ball. Can't believe my little girl is already 9.
It's Sean's turn next week to blow out the candles - so more parties all round!
